We all know that fragrances trigger memories, and memories trigger emotions, but, there is some logical reasoning and explanation behind it too. Like every other body function, the olfactory nerves and senses take their command from the brain (in this case, amygdala) and give us reactions etched in our memories, some of which we wouldn’t realise even existed.
